Description
Agarose gel electrophoresis is a widely used method for separating a mixed population of nucleic acid in a matrix of agarose. Agarose gel is a three-dimensional matrix formed of helical agarose molecules in supercoiled bundles that are aggregated into three-dimensional structures with channels and pores through which biomolecules can pass. The size of the gel pores can be controlled by adjusting the agarose concentration for separation of different-size biomolecules.
EarthOX provides reagents for agarose gel electrophoresis including Agarose Low-EEO and DNA ladders.
